The Carvers - (Flemings/Hawkins)

The story of the Brasstown Carvers runs through my own family — through Ruth Fleming Hawkins, and Clarence and Sallie Mae Ford Fleming —  whose steady hands turned mountain wood into art, and everyday life into something lasting.
