About Me

I’m a writer, wanderer, and recovering lawyer, learning to live a quieter life in the mountains—where courtrooms and chaos have been traded for long walks with my husband, starlit skies, the hush of wildflowers, dirt under my nails, jars filled with summer, and the steady company of six dogs, two house cats, and three inherited barn cats. These days, I’m chasing less, noticing more, and writing words that feel like home. — Debbie Finch
